The Visa Waiver Program allows you to travel to the United States without a visa for a short period of time. Your visit may be for pleasure or to conduct business. During your short visit to the U.S. you may use some of your free time to practice English by taking a part-time course at CSE if it does not interfere with your other activities.
It is not possible to extend or change your waiver to a visa once you are in the U.S. The maximum time you are allowed to remain in the country up to 90 days. If you would like more information about changing visa status, we recommend that you speak with the CSE international student advisor.

Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) is an automated system used to determine the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) and whether such travel poses any law enforcement or security risk.

Beginning March 31, 2014, Chileans meeting the criteria of the Visa Waiver Program may travel to the United States for business or tourism, for up to 90 days, without a visa.
